Hello, we're John & Mary Mellas, the husband & wife photography team behind Mellas Media! Two years ago, in the crazy time that was 2020, we got married and put our combined 15 years of photography experience to good use by starting this business together. It seemed a little crazy at first, but we have been blessed to photograph so many beautiful people and celebrations since that time. From weddings, to baptisms, to family portraits, it's been the privilege of a lifetime to document so many beautiful moments.

We are both Orthodox Christians, so photographing Orthodox events is our specialty. Knowing the services and catching all of the key moments is so important - and we have the experience to make that happen. All that to say, we are not exclusively booking Orthodox events. If in doubt just reach out to us! We'd love to talk over the possibilities of preserving those memories for you.

We are currently based in Western New York (Buffalo Area) but are always open to travel!
